Revenue isn’t profit. This is the difference.
Most tracking stops at what an item sold for. What matters is what’s left after the platform, the courier and the lot price take their share.
Ask a reseller what they made and you get the sold price. Ask what they paid and you get the lot price divided by however many pieces were in it. Both are wrong.
Not because the math is hard, but because the costs land at different times and attach to different things. Shipping is paid once, for six items. Tax lands on the receipt total. The platform takes its cut months later, against a price you hadn’t set yet. Nobody does that by hand, so nobody does it.

A $60 sale that felt like $42 after fees is really $24.21. Guess that across a hundred items and you don’t know your margin.
Costs move when the haul does
Return three items and their share of the shipping moves onto the ones you kept, because the courier didn’t refund you. ItemLogue redoes that for you.
